Our Existence.

"I'm not tired anymore", she said and took his hand.
Took him through the night to Morning without a second glance
Skipped through the days until weeks were months
And Eternity was just a word said yesterday.

They danced through stars and constellations not yet seen
Saw Worlds born and die within each others embrace
Time was a notion extinct when Love reigned all
A kiss for thirst and caress for hunger once starved - they fed.

He breathed and she lived - for once a beat with meaning
Aching for touch, one stroke and she falls undone
A tapestry of colours unknown and without syllable names
Tendrils of spun rubies twirled tenderly through fingers of pitch and tone.

Twin emerald depths beckon as darkened pools whisper in mirrored unison
Waiting as each fell into the other and failed to surface
Neither tried to breathe any air again and drowned
The most beautiful death of this existence - to live within the one they created.
